Our unique model provides an advantage to our sales staff resulting in higher closing rates. The main focus of this position will be to sell personal lines property & casualty insurance via direct (inbound and outbound) telephone contact to prospects utilizing company provided warm leads, thus playing a key role in driving revenue into the organization. We represent 23 insurance companies throughout the country.
This is an opportunity to be a part of a successful and rapidly growing sales team for a national insurance agency committed to helping families and individuals protect their homes, automobiles, and other valuable assets.
As a member of the sales team this position plays a key role in driving revenue into the organization. The position requires superior phone communication skills and prior success selling conceptual services to decision makers. The position also requires exceptional listening and questioning skills, and proven effectiveness at establishing first contact on company generated warm leads.
Specific Responsibilities include:
- Making outbound calls in a fast paced work environment
- Achievement of production goals
- Working with a variety of tools and applications such as comparative raters, carrier systems, and agency management systems
- Ability to meet required production goals to optimize company leads
- Using company generated warm leads to close sales
- Supplementing warm leads with company purchased cold leads
Specific qualifications include:
- A valid and active P & C license preferred or willingness to acquire during 1st 60 days of employment
- Proficient in MS Office products with strong computer navigation skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not necessary
